As a core member of the award-winning design team, I was responsible for the technical engineering refinement and the entirety of the visual execution. My role encompassed Art Direction and Product Styling, where I transformed complex CAD data into high-fidelity digital assets. By meticulously crafting the lighting and material logic, I ensured the visual storytelling matched the project's structural innovation, ultimately contributing to the project securing the Pentawards Diamond Award—the highest global honor in packaging design.
For Tilt, a brand dedicated to accessibility, my visual direction focuses on the "Soft" philosophy—not just in form, but in feeling. To highlight the product's rounded, ergonomic contours and its core mission of human care, I utilized a clean, bright studio environment and vibrant, sun-drenched lighting. The goal was to move beyond cold industrialism and instead project an atmosphere of confidence, sunshine, and authentic warmth.
Connection & BoldnessIn my compositions, products are often framed nestling together, evoking a sense of mutual care and companionship. To emphasize the uniqueness of Tilt’s form, I employed intersecting and stacked arrangements. These overlapping geometric silhouettes celebrate the product's distinct identity while maintaining a playful and optimistic brand tone.
Tilt’s design excellence lies in the details that solve real-world struggles for people with disabilities:
Tactile Sensibility: Every surface is rendered to communicate a "Soft Touch" materiality, ensuring comfort and ease of grip.
The "Chopstick" Utility: The innovative perforation at the base of the refill is a deliberate inclusive feature—allowing users with limited dexterity to use simple everyday objects, like a chopstick, to assist in swapping refills.
Solving the Shade Visibility Gap: Unlike traditional refillable designs that hide the product, Tilt’s exposed base provides an immediate "Show Shade" function. It solves a major pain point in the industry while showcasing the care poured into every millimeter of the design.
The Emotional TouchIn the hero shots, I simulated the feeling of natural sunlight hitting the skin. It’s a visual metaphor for the brand’s soul: just as skin is warmed by the sun, the human heart can be warmed by thoughtful, empathetic design.
